The role of Human Resources (HR) is to pro-actively support management and employees in meeting their business targets by timely and effectively attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining highly committed and skilled people.

The group has over 150 members and is divided into the following areas:

The Employee Relations & Recruitment team is in charge of attracting new people by developing sourcing strategies, candidate recruitment and selection at a European level. Another key role is maintaining harmonious social relations at all levels of the company.

The Training team matches organisational needs to the individual's abilities by developing and delivering training solutions in order to continuously contribute to our employee development.

The Organisation Development team supports managers on all Human Resource practices by informing, advising and coaching. They manage various HR projects by implementing and evaluating coherent HR policies, procedures and tools in line with best practices.

Organisation Development enables us to have the right people in the right positions through appropriate development, meeting company needs and employees' expectations.

The Compensation & Planning team is responsible for the employment conditions and the function classification system. They ensure proficient running of HR systems by looking after base salary, bonus, benefits, related policies and procedures on a European basis.

The General Affairs team provides services for the entire organisation of Toyota's European Headquarters, such as Health & Safety, Facility Management (from waste management to non-smoking policy), Corporate Services (from catering to company cars) as well as Corporate Purchasing (from ordering business cards to office supplies).
