Vehicle Performance Management Group

The Vehicle Performance Management Group controls the vehicle's overall performance from the early concept stage until the start of production including: concept performance planning, vehicle ergonomics, target setting, evaluation management, prototype parts procurement, supplier liaison, problem solving and technical launch preparations. This group is involved in new vehicle development and coordinating with all cross-divisional teams to achieve target performance in terms of profitability, reliability marketability and timeliness.

Total Vehicle Assessment

This team is responsible for testing vehicles Europe-wide in order to determine if the vehicle performance follows the original set targets.

Ergonomics

This team ensures that European customers feel comfortable and convenient in Toyota and Lexus cars by evaluating factors such as seating position, luggage requirements, and ease-of-operation of the various car functions.

Prototype

This team is responsible for procuring prototype parts from suppliers Europe-wide by providing design information, order issuance, supplier follow-up, logistics and final part quality check. The team is also responsible for rapid prototyping, prototype assembly and vehicle disassembly.
