The Electronics Group is responsible for parts and systems development for our European models. They evaluate and benchmark these parts and systems to satisfy our European customers' needs.

Electronics Design
The team's core responsibility is parts and systems development including mechanical installation, electrical interface development and function specification from concept through to production. Their varied activities include meeting technical requirements, project schedules and cost targets. They develop all vehicle equipment from body electronics (switches, meters, security), multimedia (audio, navigation), power distribution (wiring harnesses, fuse boxes) and control systems (ABS, VSC, electronic parking brakes).

Electronics Engineering
This team is responsible for the evaluation of vehicle electronic systems. They evaluate locally developed parts and systems, support Toyota Japan in new electronic systems development for European vehicles and conduct conformity tests in European environments. The division benchmarks European trends and proposes future electronic systems.
