The Body Group is responsible for the technical design, development and testing of vehicle body components for our vehicles intended for the European market.

Body Design
This team is responsible for the technical design and development of body components for European vehicles, such as interior components, seats, functional parts and upper body shell. They also provide technical support to Toyota Japan, our manufacturing divisions and our suppliers to ensure that parts achieve the design requirements (performance, mass, cost) before the start of production.

Body Evaluation
This team evaluates, provides feedback and suggests European requirements for vehicles intended for the European market in the areas of noise and vibration, interior safety, seats and ergonomics. They investigate field concerns, ensure that these are resolved quickly and provide feedback for countermeasures for future developments.
