Toyota's “Just-In-Time” supply chain concept has become a model for manufacturers around the world.

Planning & Logistics covers the following areas:

The Logistics Management team manages the collection of parts from suppliers across Europe and the delivery to all Toyota assembly and unit plants, in line with our "Just-in-Time" philosophy.

The Production Control team is responsible for planning production volumes and product mix in our European manufacturing plants.

The Project Management team is responsible for planning and supporting new projects (e.g. new car launches) in association with our manufacturing plants, European Technical Centre and Head Office in Japan.

The Vehicle Logistics team implements the future vehicle logistics framework, in order to achieve most efficient logistics and supply chain on a European level. They are also responsible for the purchase of logistics services.

The Parts Logistics team is responsible for analysing and improving the logistics routing of service parts and the handling flow.
