How can I prepare for the interviews in Brussels?
The interviews are an opportunity to share information both ways. It's an occasion for us to get to know you better and you get a chance to find out more about Toyota and the job content. Preparation is crucial. We advise you to get information about our organisation, be prepared to describe your educational background and experience, your achievements and reflect on what you would like to achieve in the future.

What kind of contract is offered?
Graduates who succeed all the selection steps are offered a permanent employment contract.

Will I be paid during the programme?
Yes, you will be paid a competitive salary. In addition you'll enjoy a wide range of extra benefits, including a pension scheme, hospitalisation, disability and life insurance, holidays, a bonus scheme, meal vouchers and a car rental programme.

Where will I be based?
Most graduate jobs are in Belgium (Brussels European Headquarters or Zaventem European Technical Centre). Please note that the majority of vacancies for production engineers will be based at our production plants in the UK, Turkey or Poland, some opportunities may also exist in Brussels.

What will I do in this programme?
You will be assigned a real job from the beginning. You will be supported and guided by your supervisor and experienced team members (on-the-job training). As a graduate, you will also participate in a number of training courses and placements to help you learn, practice and gain the know-how on how to work in the Toyota Way (off-the-job training).

What kind of support is offered to graduates in the programme?
As a graduate, you will receive support from an experienced member in your team, who will act as your mentor during the 19 months.

What are the minimum requirements for the graduate programme?
We are looking for recent graduates:
- with less than 18 months' professional experience (not including internships, summer or student jobs)
- with a degree of four years or more (bachelor, master or MBA)
- who graduated in 2006 or 2007 or are completing their degree in 2008

What if I already have some professional experience?
If you have less than 18 months' professional experience, you are still eligible for our Graduate Programme. Candidates with more than 18 months experience are no longer qualified for the programme, and should go to www.toyotajobs.com.

How many graduates will you hire?
In 2008 we plan to take on 150 graduates in our European Headquarters in Brussels, and the European Technical Centre in Zaventem, Belgium.

What happens after the Graduate Programme?
After successful completion of the 19 months Graduate Programme, you progress to the next job grade and continue to develop your career in Toyota in accordance with company processes and policies.

English is our company language, so you must be fluent in English. Any other European language is an asset.

When would I need to start working?
